‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Back on the Big Screen

Jack-SkellingtonOne of the films we’ve introduced our toddler to, since it’s available streaming on Netflix, is Tim Burton’s visionary and charming The Nightmare Before Christmas. Now considered a classic, this was a favorite of my group of high school friends, mixing many of the things we loved most: quirky visuals, an undertone of creepy, an overtone of feel-good redemption, and musical numbers. Our toddler has a hard time keeping up with the intricacies of the songs and plot–it’s a bit complex–but he loves all things Christmas.

Lucky for us, Disney is giving us the chance to live like it’s 1993 again.

Cinemark and AMC theaters are going to be running a limited engagement of The Nightmare Before Christmas in all it’s big screen glory on October 31, November 2, and November 5.

With only 5 showings total, advance ticket buying is advisable. Buy them now online at AMC’s website and Cinemark’s website.
